Deadword
Deadword is a first-person shooter where your vocabulary is your weapon.
Each round starts with a prompt word, like fierce or ancient. You have 18 seconds to forge a synonym. The longer your word, the bigger the guns you can pick from. The closer it is in meaning, and the fewer players who picked the same word, the harder your bullets hit. Type something unrelated and you're stuck with a jammed Dud.
Then the battle starts. Dash, double-jump and fight through a medieval town, aiming for headshots with your hand-forged weapon.
- Free for All: every player for themselves, with up to 32 players.
- Control 5v5: two teams of five fight over five capture points.
- Computer players fill the match, so there's always a fight.
