Hearth & Hollow
Hearth & Hollow is a gothic village tower defense game where you protect an inhabited village from supernatural hordes across ten waves in two five-wave nights. Between waves you build stake throwers, archers, ballistae, catapults, militia posts, barricades, and lanterns, manage the village's population, rescue survivors, and recruit specialists while enchantments make your defenses increasingly supernatural. Visually it uses a dark, readable gothic style with warm lantern-lit houses, a chapel, and muddy roads surrounded by fog, woods, and graves, with mournful string-driven music.
